Officially Five
February 13, 2008
This site is five years old today.
Other things that are celebrating a five year anniversary today:
- The first time I saw HTML markup that was not generated by Microsoft Frontpage
- The first time I wrote HTML markup
- The time I fooled many of my Midland friends into thinking I dyed my hair during my freshman year of college, despite their knowledge of my love of Photo-Paint at the time
- Listening to John Glenn give a lecture at Laurie Auditorium
- Trying to figure out what a class in Java even meant, let alone how to archive it into a JAR file, so that I could turn in my second Principles of Algorithm Design II assignment that was due at midnight
- Reading for Dr. Agoston's Art History II class
- IMing my classmates in Dr. Batman's class and rolling dice
Yes, February 13, 2003 was a busy day... indeed.
The Return
September 12, 2007
I have two new web projects are on the horizon - Herschelsie and Daltogen - both related to areas of digital art and new media. But don't worry... there are more pictures to come to dw[d]. And I finally bought Photoshop for my Macbook since I don't use my old PC anymore... so it's going to be easier to update this site - get excited, get excited indeed.
Vacation
May 29, 2007
Back from vacation. And not only that... but I have posted the first of multiple rounds of photos from said vacation. More will be coming as I gather photos from other people, since my camera died right before the rehearsal dinner. Good fun with good friends - old and new - in a beautiful area of the country. Ta da.
